An imposing building set at a fork in the road that also houses the village war memorial. Owner Salvatore bought the pub in October 2017. Food is very much at the heart of its operation. Of the two rooms, the lower one is purely a restaurant, it also has a fine old fireplace. The upper room has a small drinking area at one end and tables set for food at the other. Rustic timbered flooring throughout. The attractive decking, patio and grassed rear garden is accessed through the lower room. Food is simple and good Italian fayre using locally-sourced ingredients. Pizzas from an outside wood-fired oven are available Monday and Wednesday to Sunday. Traditional roasts are avalailable on Sundays. Beer and cider festival with live music in the first weekend in July. Dog friendly.
