Blue Moon2 Norfolk Street
1960's public house built to replace a nearby one called the Man in the Moon and originally called the Man on the Moon. Since November 2013 it has been a sister pub to the Cambridge Blue, hence its new name. As well as changing real ciders and real ales, from smaller breweries, there are up to ten craft keg beers. The pub has a tap takeover once a month. There are also 90+ gins available, and a good selection of rum. There are two bars, the front bar contains old pictures of Cambridge pubs, an unusual wall clock and lots of hand drawn portraits of the staff. The larger, back bar has a pool table and arcade machines. There are tables and flower tubs out front and a small car park at the rear. Very popular pub quiz on Wednesdays. Live music mostly weekends, and frequent other events, check social media for details. Not open lunchtimes, but late evening opening through the week. Cambridge & District CAMRA Young Members Pub of the Year 2017.
