Cosy, welcoming two-bar local. "Proper pubs" like this are a rarity in the city centre. The right hand room has a bare boarded floor and half timbered walls. It is mainly used for dining. The main bar is on two levels, the upper one having a stone flagged floor. Out the back is a small sun-trap courtyard. Up to five cask ales are on handpumps. Weston's Old Rosie cider is also available. Home made, locally sourced food is served most at most sessions. New licensees took on the Clarendon Arms in May 2024.
