Single bar pub hosting jam sessions on Thursday nights. The scattered pillars betray the footprint of the old three-room layout. Bare-boarded floor, walls painted red, ochre and green and a nice mix of furniture (including some leather settees). Accommodation is available in rooms above the pub and in an annexe to the rear and built in style similar to the existing building. Opens 8am (8.30 Sunday) for breakfast. Hearty, hot cooked pub classics at other sessions. Sunday lunches. The guest beer is from the local Papworth brewery. Cash payments (sterling or euros) preferred but cards also accepted.
