Lord Byron Inn22 Church Lane
Large 17th century inn on the edge of Cambridge. Varied floor levels, a low, beamed ceiling and wood panelling on the walls gives the L shaped front, main bar area with its comfortable seating lots of character. The dining room is to the rear. Behind is a large, well kept garden and there are also a few tables out front. The pub has a new purpose built accommodation block built in keeping with the appearance of the original building. Regular real ales are primarily from local brewery, Turpin's, which is owned by the licensee. Real ciders are usually Old Rosie and one from local producer Spinney Abbey. Tasty, home-cooked food is available at all sessions.
