Fox2 North Street
The earliest parts of the building date back to the 17th Century. It has been an alehouse since 1764. A wood panelled, single room pub on two levels with a separate dining room beyond. It occupies a large site with patio area, beer garden and car park. Various guest ales can include beers from smaller breweries. August bank holiday beer festival is held each year. Traditional food lunchtimes and Mexican food in the pub's restaurant in the evening. Hence its large selection of tequilas. The building also houses an adjoining Indian restaurant, the Bengal Fox, which is a separate business.
