Dyke's End8 Fair Green
Quintessential village pub saved from closure by a group of villagers and now privately owned by a local person with a passion for good beer and real food. The interior comprises a cosy food-free tap room, bar and attractive restaurant serving freshly prepared home-cooked meals. Photos and art of local interest adorns the walls whilst the idyllic garden overlooks the village green where the annual Reach Fair takes place on the early May Bank Holiday Monday. Reach sits at one end of the Devil's Dyke, a 7.5 mile Anglo-Saxon bank and ditch earthworks that is popular with walkers.
