Attractive, low-ceilinged village local, that makes the most of its exposed beams and three open fires to create a relaxed, rustic feel. The main bar has bare-boarded floors and large scrubbed tables with candles. Large car park to the rear with garden beyond. The pub was sold by Greene King and, following a refurbishment, reopened free of tie in April 2025. Up to four cask ales, mostly from local breweries. Not currently offering food.
