See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Attractive, low-ceilinged village local, that makes the most of its exposed beams and three open fires to create a relaxed, rustic feel. The main bar has bare-boarded floors and large scrubbed tables with candles. Large car park to the rear with garden beyond. A rare outlet for Greene King XX mild which is served straight from the cask. Other real ales are dispensed either by hand pump or direct from the cask at the customers request. Home-cooked food majors on salads, pies and mash and Mexican dishes with roasts on Sunday lunchtimes. Quiz night Sunday evenings. New licensees took over in April 2022 and left before Christmas. New licensees are being sought.
