Attractive 1930s pub with a half-brick, half-timbered exterior. The left hand room has a real fire and is mainly laid out for dining. The main room has a real fire near the main entrance and a shuffleboard at the opposite end as well tables for drinking and dining. The newer back room is primarily for dining. To the rear of the pub is a covered patio garden including private dining cabins. The pub and its rooms are available for events and group bookings. Its three guest ales change weekly. Home cooked food includes pizzas as well as pub classics and is available at all sessions. Roasts available on Sundays. Cambridge & District CAMRA Most Improved (City) Pub 2020. In November 2024 it was taken on by Lapen Inns whose other pub include the Old Crown in Girton. The food will be Nepalese.
