See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

The Black Horse is a two bar village pub purchased several years ago by a Rampton resident from Greene King. It has since earned a reputation for its cask ales, locally produced cider and fine wines. Food currently consists of bar snacks, including vegan, homemade cakes and other baked items and artisan ice cream. Dog friendly throughout. Step-free access although the toilets are not wheelchair accessible. Outside there is parking on both sides of the pub and a large beer garden to the rear with a pétanque pitch. Informal pétanque evenings alternate Wednesdays during the summer. Up to three changing ales from regional and local small breweries. It's keg lines include Lost & Grounded Helles, Nene Valley Release the Chips and Egyptian Cream and Cranes cider. New licensees took over in July 2023.
