Hanging baskets adorn the front of this red tile roofed village pub. The long, low-ceilinged main bar has a cosy alcove at one end and a small raised area at the other. The wood fronted bar takes up much of the central section. The multilevel floor and exposed beams hint at the pub's former multi-room format. A separate garden/family room lies off to the left looking out onto the large garden that has flower borders and play equipment for children. The pub is popular with local clubs and societies. There are two darts teams and a crib team. It's three changing beers feature regional (often Oakham) and national breweries. Saturday morning breakfasts and well as other meals.
