Gloriously traditional thatched village pub, previously a coaching inn. Beyond the rear car park is one of the largest beer gardens in the area. The main bar has low ceilings, a real fire and many cosy corners. There is also a second, smaller bar. Regular ales and guests are served. Food may be eaten in the bar or the separate newly refurbished dining room. The smart and spacious function room is to the rear. New licensees took over in May 2026.
