See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Two-bar village local, the last of three pubs in the village. The main bar has a traditional clay tiled floor and welcomes walkers and dogs. Home made food using locally sourced ingredients cooked to order. Food served at all sessions. One of several former Greene King pubs in the area now privately owned. Hazel & Steve organise lots of family friendly community events. Their monthly quiz nights raise money for local charities. The 2016 beneficiaries are Riding for the Disabled and Kirtling Cricket Club. The Red Lion changed owners in December 2022 and again in August 2023.
