Woodforde's Wherry
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Purchased from Greene King by a local resident in January 2012 and extensively renovated before reopening as a free house. Two bar village pub and restaurant with oak beams. The spacious bar to the left has pale paintwork and a wooden floor. There are toys and games for the younger ones. The restaurant to the right has a tiled floor and large fireplace. There is a large garden and ample parking. Wherry is their regular while their guest ales are often regional. New licensees reopened the pub in May 2024.
