See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A classic, cosy, side street pub, just off Mill Road, that's equally popular with diners and drinkers. Windows and mirrors keep the interior light and welcoming. Simple tables and chairs cater for groups of many sizes while bar stools suit those who prefer to perch. The walled garden behind has canopies and heaters and is popular all year round. There are roadside cycle-racks in front. The compact bar is a treasure trove. Twelve hand pumps serve regular and changing guest beers, including at least two dark beers, and two changing ciders and perries. A selection of Belgian and other bottled beers are also stocked. Locally sourced, home-cooked food is available at all sessions with breakfasts served from 11am on Saturdays. Economical options for diners and drinkers. The Kingston Arms reopened in December 2020 under new licensees. Real ale is less of a priority. A full resurvey will happen in 2021.
