After being a restaurant for many years, it returned as the Phoenix with a pub area in July 2019. Open for breakfast from 9am. Entering through the lobby there is a dining area to the right with a step down to a large seating area and the bar. Following lockdown 3 it reopened in May 2021 as Histon Smokehouse. In late 2023 it underwent another transformation becoming Tawa Lounge serving a mix of British and South and East Asian dishes. Other details here may no longer be accurate. Papworth Half Nelson is now their regular cask ale. The food ranges from breakfast from 9 to 11:30 through sandwiches and salads to smokehouse classics. Brunch on Sundays. Market stalls in the rear garden are in use Friday to Sunday selling locally produced goods. Papworth Brewery have a stall on the first Friday of the month.
