At 220 square feet, The Rad is the smallest pub in Cambridge. Its interior is adorned with local sporting memorabilia and photographs mostly of its own teams and those of Jesus College. The pub has its own rowing and cricket teams and is the base of the infamous Hash House Harriers (Mondays at 8). Also on the wall is a sackcloth garment known as the authentic "Drawers of St Radegund". The bar was moved in 2016 revealing a formerly hidden fireplace. Small brass plaques commemorate former customers now drinking at the great bar in the sky. For its 4 changing ales there is a policy of 1 blonde, 1 dark, 1 ruby and 1 bitter. Bottled beers from the licensee's own Saffron Brewery are also available. The pub has a rain check tree that enables you to buy a drink for someone not currently present.
