Regular beers: Adnams Southwold Bitter, Sharp's Doom Bar

See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Gloriously traditional thatched village pub, previously a coaching inn. Beyond the rear car park is one of the largest beer gardens in the area. The main bar has low ceilings, a real fire and many cosy corners. There is also a second, smaller bar. Regular ales and guests are from the SIBA range. Food may be eaten in the bar or the separate newly refurbished dining room. The smart and spacious function room hosts a trad jazz club on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. New licensees took over early August 2020.
